#BeeWell is a youth-centred programme dedicated to young people’s wellbeing.

Youth organisations were invited to design programmes to support young people in their local areas, following extensive research carried out with young people across Hampshire and the Isle of Wight. â€‹

The #BeeWell Youth Board (led by teenagers) loved the program we submitted and we have been granted funding to run the #BeeWell program in the local area, targeting key areas that the #BeeWell research showed was lacking in teenagers locally through alternative, innovative and sometimes not readily accessible activity sessions. â€‹

We have put together a varied program of activities that teenagers can try locally, or if they are not local activities, we will transport them to the activity.

If you have a young person of secondary school age that you think would benefit from taking part then please get in touch, it is completely free to attend and if they attend 8 out of the 10 sessions they will be rewarded with a trip to Ninja Warrior in July, again, free of charge.

The main areas of focus from the #BeeWell research for our area include:

  • Helping young people to manage their emotions, including anxiety and low mood.

  • Help young people improve their levels of life satisfaction.

  • Educate and support young people on all aspects of bullying and where and how to receive support.

  • Improve young people psychological wellbeing.

  • Improve engagement with physical activity in young people in the local area.

  • Combat loneliness in young people in the local area.
